Your signature is a perfect resolution. I want to learn it by heart.

But personalising it a bit to myself: I think allowing myself to shine is what I need most at the start of this year. However I must keep in mind that my shining must be smart: directed at the world at large to show the way to myself and to people I walk with. I must not shine my light into their eyes. Doing the latter is a bad mistake.

Thank you very much. I've got a few New Years resolutions which I'm working on.

But after awhile, Heaven did not look well
And I broke my sworn declaration teetotal.
Perhaps the punishment for this mortal sin came in recent years
I get a terrible headache after even a tiniest pint of beer
So I cannot drink any more, teetotalism is back home
But my brain's intolerance  and not my religion is in charge from now on.

I love your poem. Thank you very much for sharing. I drink occasionally & find peppermint tea gets rid of my hangovers.

Not that I don't like that gangster film from 1960 but it just does not compete with White Christmas, a classic masterpiece of phenomenal quality: the first Kodak Chrome Technicolour panoramic movie. Though made in 1954, White Christmas still watches today as if new, amazing. And the plot and the theme matches the quality: timeless tale. And lucky Crosby to have been immortalised in it.

I'm very sorry about that. I have White Xmas on D.V.D. so just tried to share & didn't watch before sharing & didn't want to just share clips. I like White Xmas but prefer High Society. I love Bing Crosby.
